ACP sheet is also well know as aluminium composite panel (ACP) is a composite material made of aluminum coil and a middle layer of polyethylene or polyurethane plastic, offering benefits such as light weight, durability, fire resistance, corrosion resistance, thermal and sound insulation.
The ACP sheet structure typically consists of a surface aluminum coil+paint coating, a middle layer of polyethylene or polyurethane plastic, and a back aluminum coil+pain coating. The aluminum coil and polyethylene are combined by high temperature and high pressure.
Advantages of ACP sheet:
include good wind resistance, earthquake resistance, and impact resistance, as well as being lightweight, easy to process, fire-resistant, moisture-resistant, anti-mildew, anti-corrosion, heat-insulating, and soundproof.
ACP is available in a wide range of colors and can also be subjected to treatments such as aluminum plating and spraying for surface finishing. It is easy to install and can meet various design requirements.
ACP sheet can be applied in areas such as exterior wall/curtain wall, interior wall decoration, partition, advertising board.
The ACP thickness varies with application: for example, 2mm is common for advertising board, 3mm for interior decoration, and 4mm for exterior wall/curtain wall, or customized according to customer requirements.
The thickness of the aluminum coil ranges from 0.01mm to 1.0mm depending on the application.
Surface coatings may include PE (polyester) for interiors such as wall decoration and floor directional signs, and PVDF (fluorocarbon) for exteriors such as high-grade building curtain walls and large advertising boards.
