A1 non combustible aluminium composite panel (A1 fireproof ACP) is a widely recognized construction material in the building industry. Its structure is similar to that of regular aluminum composite panels, consisting of two aluminum sheets bonded together with a polyethylene core at high temperatures. What sets fire-resistant aluminum composite panels apart from traditional ones is that their core material is composed of magnesium oxide boards.
Fire-resistant aluminum composite panels are extensively used in the construction industry due to their outstanding properties, including being lightweight, high-strength, durable, weather-resistant, and fire-resistant. They are commonly employed for exterior wall cladding decoration in various types of buildings, such as commercial, residential, educational, and healthcare facilities.
Aluminum composite panels can be classified based on their fire resistance into B1, A2, and A1 grades:
A1 aluminium composite panel: Superior fire resistance: This is a new product developed by Alcadex to meet the latest fire safety requirements for aluminum composite panels. It differs from traditional fire-resistant aluminum composite panels in the core material used. The fire-resistant core material in A1-grade panels is magnesium oxide boards (MGO), which is currently a solution that easily meets A1 testing requirements for fire-resistant aluminum composite panels.
