Fire-Rated ACP Panels

Fire-rated ACP panels use two aluminium skins bonded to a mineral-filled core formulated for defined reaction-to-fire performance. Alcadex supplies A2 and B1 options for facade, wall, ceiling and interior applications where the required classification, test standard and panel construction are identified before production.

How to Select Fire-Rated ACP

A classification is valid only for the product construction and test method identified in its supporting documentation.

OptionCore and performance focusCommon selectionConfirm with the order
A2 Fire-Rated ACPMineral-filled core for an identified A2 classificationProjects whose specification calls for the stated A2 reaction-to-fire classTest standard and suffix, panel thickness, aluminium skin, core, coating and matching report
B1 Fire-Rated ACPFire-retardant mineral-filled core for an identified B1 classificationProjects whose specification calls for the stated B1 reaction-to-fire classTest standard, acceptance criteria, panel thickness, aluminium skin, core and matching report

Do not select a fire-rated panel by the words A2 or B1 alone; confirm the complete standard designation and quoted construction.

Fire-Rated ACP Products

Review available A2 and B1 configurations, then confirm the required classification and report with the enquiry.

Documentation & Quality Control

Alcadex provides test and classification documents for identified fire-rated panel configurations. The product name, thickness, aluminium skin, core, coating and test method in the applicable report must match the quoted panel.

Fire-Rated ACP Benefits

01

Defined Fire Performance

A2 and B1 options support specified reaction-to-fire requirements when the selected construction matches the applicable classification report.

02

Lightweight Construction

The mineral-filled composite structure provides documented fire-performance options in a panel that remains practical to handle and prepare.

03

Durable Panel Build

Aluminium skins protect the core and support resistance to moisture, corrosion and routine handling when correctly specified.

04

Finish Options

Solid, metallic and selected decorative finishes allow fire requirements and the intended architectural appearance to be specified together.

05

Factory Fabrication

Panels can be cut, routed, grooved and drilled to approved drawings while retaining the specified panel construction.

06

Low Maintenance

The smooth coated face is straightforward to clean and needs limited routine care throughout normal service.
